I'm a printmaker, graphic designer, and writer based in Rockland, Maine. I recieved a BA in Studio Art with a concentration in Printmaking as well as a degree in Creative Writing from Colby College. I have experience in design and layout for promotional print materials, as well as experience in website design and logo design. Community, place, nature, and my experience with chronic illness inspires me the most to create.

In my printmaking practice, I speciallize in collagraphy: constructing boards and creating imprints of wild plants, flowers, leaves, and grasses that I harvest myself. Most of the plants I focus on creating with are already dead or dying at the time I collect them. I am continuously inspired by the way in which humans are not so different from plants -- they are fragile and powerless in the face of change and the cycle of life and death (two things that are synonymous), but they are also resilient -- especially as a small and important part of a larger community.
